Great book for the little ones!

I read this little book in 1st grade. It was one of my first books, and one which helped teach me to read.

This was one of the first full novels I ever read. It was recommended by the school librarian when I was a 6th grader. I remember a sense of awe and good feelings, but not what the book was about.

Good, but long winded like most classic Russian fiction.

Excellent. Read it!

What can I say that hasn't been said? Just about the most classic of any classic tale. Superb, like all Shakespeare plays.
